Tune: Webb
(Stand up, stand up for Jesus')
Psalm 68 parts
Halijkah -one Hebrew word for 'praise'
********
Halijkah, a procession
Marching in succession
A caravan, company
To the Lord their praise be
And when the Lord God went forth
The one of awesome worth
When He did march through desert
Victory was clear set
For then the earth did shake sure
The heavens rain outpoured
At presence of God, and e'en
Mount Sinai was seen
To be moved at such a one
Comparable to none
The Lord their guide, guardian
Of children, women, men
Let God arise, enemies
Be scattered, for He frees
Us from them, and let they who
Hate him flee from Him, do
As smoke driven away, drive
Them away, they not thrive
So let the wicked perish
But [the] righteous Him cherish
Let them be glad and rejoice
The have made Him their choice
Extol Him, He rides upon
The heavens, holy one
His name is JAH, JEHOVAH
The Lord, to Him all stir
To process in His victory
Which every soul shall see
Ascribe unto God strength for
He excellent e'ermore
His strength is in the clouds here
Terrible, awesome fear
Yet He the God of Israel
Does hear who on Him call
Strength, power, gives He to each
Salvation does them reach

That other organist guy gone on holiday or something. I had to pay him overtime you know. This guy said he would stand in!
You got that trumpet Gold, for the original hymn: 'Forth to battle...The trumpet call obey'?
My trumpet is always ready Orchi, I even know where it is!
Thanks Gold.
Orchi,
I enjoyed the “stand in”!
Great share. Thank you!

Thanks Laura. It's a pity there's no 'stand-in' singer for me. It's always me singing - or two cats fighting? I must stop insulting cats! lol
