Here communing, times of quiet
Lord, you not from us depart
Our hearts, lives, sanctuary
There your dwelling be
Yet not quiet passivity
But to serve you actively
Your Spirit us empower
For needs of each hour
So to be doing, faith be
Shown truly in action, see
Words alone be not complete
Will not needs full meet
Or in loud praise, exulting
Worship to our Lord and King
What[ever] our rhythm, what[ever] our tone
Honour him alone
Offer your praise uniquely
None like you can ever be
Like you perfectly, for grace
