A Better Day.

Goldfinch60

Not a word was written on this day,

A day where life seemed to pull me

From normality

Into the depths of despair.

My lovers mind was lost,

Completely lost in her own world,

Her world of dementia.

No sense was spoken,

And it was repeated time after time,

Conversation was never in her mind.

She needed me with her

All the time.

My love is so strong for her,

But I need some time on my own

To write words.

But on that day it never happened,

I needed to be with her constantly,

Her mind closed in on itself.

Today I write these words,

So already,

Today is a better day.

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO ~ UNCLE ANDY ~ WE BOTH ENJOYED ITS COOLNESS ! Careless Love the concept of LOVE for many in the 21st C ! BUT never for JOYCE & Yourself who are a great example of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE whatever the circumstances ~ thanks for caring & sharing. We suffer because we are separated for a Season by 11k miles (and £1500 !) and I know when ANGELA returns to Essex she will be changed ~ NZ does that to you ! However it will be a change for the better ! Angela works with Headway (as a Physio) and she knows a Young Man can go out on his Motorbike and return helpless ~ but his Young Wife loves HIM just the same as before ~ in fact with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE even more. God has given you a solemn responsibility to care for JOYCE and we pray for strength & understanding. ANGELA & I have Unconditional Love because you never know ~ what a day may bring forth ! Every Blessing to You & Joyce in your daily walk with God ~ LOVE BRIAN 😎 & ANGELA 🧡🧡

Thank you for your kind words Brian, yes true love is unconditional and that vow I made "in sickness and in health" is so meaningful to me.

Life pulls and tugs at us in all different directions every day. Your priorities are the right ones sir. Loved ones are the most treasured of all the gifts this life brings.
Soon you will once again walk your river and talk with the creator, refreshing your batteries and reinforcing your positivity.

A fine write Gold. I saw a Vicar and a Curate serving during an informal. service (no dog collars either, though that's neither here nor there!).
The Vicar went to comfort someone, and sat with a grown man who was weeping. Then another week the Curate helped, as she directed people to spare seats - a full church!
I went and told the Vicar afterwards how sensitive and thoughtful I considered it.
A former Vicar was bit of a stuff-shirt, though his Curate would also help in those ways.

Many Vicars are caring people, it is good to see them in action.

Thanks Gold. I won't go into detail about one Vicar. it's all over now. He has gone for ever - whether for good or bad!
