Always taking the time for
what you need and want
The empath in me desiring a break
Less of reality, more of a taunt
The goals have become stumbling
blocks as I have tried to do each one
I pace myself with all the obstacles
Trying not to come undone.
Should be a lazy Sunday
but there's so much to complete
There'll be no winners today
Just the disappointment of defeat
I start to crack in the center
Just a feeling of ripe despair
Then my family surrounds me
Each one lets me know they care

Thanks for sharing CHRIS ~ we can all relate to that at some level ~ the cumulative stress of the everyday things ~ to relieve that we have Family ! I love going to my Mums for SUNDAY LUNCH and it removes the stress of having to cook for myself and of course of missing ANGELA more each day ~ especially the thought of Christmas without her ! Still EASTER 2019 will come soon enough and we talk each day on phone or SKYPE. Please check my Poem today ~ I wrote it to complement Angela's of yesterday ! Abrazos y Besos de BRIAN y ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thanks. Yeah. Seems nothing is the same lately. Appreciate the comment. Hugs to you both! Christina

Thank you so much Andy! I do so appreciate your support.
Lovely poem Christina. It's great to have friends and family around you when you need them most.

Thanks Syd! Really appreciate your comment and taking the time to stop by!
Beautifully written and very visual, and family and friends can make a great difference when life gets us down or plans/goals don't go exactly as expected. At times like that I've got use to saying "character building" 😁
Thanks so much for your kind words Gogeta!! Very appreciative!
