John's Gospel Series (1)
John [the Baptist] did see Jesus approaching
To river [Jordan], he baptising
Said, Behold the Lamb of God He
Saviour of all men He be
He does take away the world's sin
Washes, cleanses us within
See all your sins upon Him laid
He for you the price has paid
John saw the Spirit descending
From heaven, grace attending
Like a dove on Jesus biding
Rests, stays with Him, remaining
God the Father He did John send
To baptise, so lives amend
He said to John, Who you do see
The spirit resting, He be
Be the one who does baptise sure
With the Spirit evermore
So John bare record, this the word
That He [Jesus] is the Son of God.

The Spirit is always with us.
Thanks Gold. What I like in a (Anglican) Church is that they have The Peace, whether or not they then have Holy Communion. It turns into a bit of natter for a few minutes, but not distracting.

Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ I (Brian) have sung in many Choirs like that ! I closed my eyes and I was there. When I first met ANGELA the Holy Spirit within us bore witness that we were both committed Christians ~ this is the foundation of our Spiritual Relationship ~ AMEN ! Love the POEM ~ the first Chapter of JOHN's GOSPEL is one of the most sublime in the whole BIBLE. It is clear statement of the GOSPEL. I love "When JOHN the BAPTIST saw JESUS he said "BEHOLD The Lamb of God ~ who takes away the Sin of the World ~ AMEN" That is the GOSPEL.
