CHINESE GINGER JAR ~ PRICELESS !
BLUE & WHITE brush strokes
shimmering beneath the glaze
a Chinese Ginger Jar !
Long wintery night
only Snowman is gazing
at a thousand stars !
Sitting down on the
Mountainside : to enjoy view
now shrouded in clouds !
In the cemetery
at sunset ~ the Angels wings
become tinged with fire !
SUMMER : first hot night
making iced tea for dinner
slicing the LEMONS !
To poor to buy a
CAR ~ Peddle home through muddy
puddles ~ hail & snow !
Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ ANGELA & BRIAN
The 5 7 5 format makes a pleasing shape when centered.
They are pleasing to read and melodic to recite ! Senryu
2 & 3 are almost Seasonal HAIKU ! I love this poetic form
why not have a try by adding a 5 7 5 SENRYU to my
FUSION. Share a 5 7 5 SENRYU ~ Angela & Brian.
You WILL have to click on DEVELOPING to see it !
HAIKU are about NATURE & SEASONS. SENRYU are about
Human Experience and anything else. Please choose your
favourite SENRYU from the above six ANGELA & BRIAN🧡🧡🧡🧡

Fine set of senryu magic dear Brian - -and that lovely young voice singing of the joy in flying with snowmen always fills me with merry cheer - - thanks for the smile this raised in the first read of my day. Hugs to you both.
MANY THANKS FAY ~ for your encouraging response ! We each composed three SENRYU and then published them together ! Angela chose the GINGER JAR ~ she collects them and I chose the SNOWMAN for my first Senryu ~ Yes it really is beautiful and Christmassy ! Every Blessing ~ Yours as always BRIAN ~ Love Angela 🧡🧡
A fine *et of *enryu* B&A. You u*ed up all the 's's in the title. I had to use *.
THANKS UNCLE STEVE ~ We are into alliteration (hence all the S's) which is something we do use very often ! Pleased you liked our POST ~ please check our FUSION ~ Write a SENRYU ~ Thanks BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Good 5-7-5 but these are not senryu, senryu are about emotion. 2, 3,4 and 5 could be haiku but 1 & 6 are just 5-7-5s, matey be call them Brianiku.
