Dark branches are his hide
As he climbs slowly through the night sky
Breathlessly stalking in shadows
The elusive stars
To add to his collection of light
He’ll do no harm
They’ll be released at dawn

Hi, Lorna!
I had a feeling (and was hoping) you’d post a moon poem for October! So glad you did!🌝
So beautifully written! It was a joy to read!
