TO JEANNE

Michael Edwards

TO JEANNE

I didn’t know then

and I don’t know now

what the meaning of love is

and yet somehow

I loved you then

and I love you now

and I know I always will.

Does the meaning of love matter so much when your very existence is within love itself.
You know you love. She knows you love. Together you ARE love.
And long may it be so.

    • Michael Edwards

Nope - doesn't matter at all. Cheers dusk

      Michael,

      “and I know I always will”💞

Congratulations to both of you in celebrating 54 years of not “knowing the meaning of love”! In my humble opinion, that is the meaning of LOVE!♥️

      As we say in Italian...
      Altri Cento(another hundred)!
      Only forty-six more to go!

      All the best...

      ~Laura~

P.S. - Love the piece of artwork.

How's that evening going? It's no ordinary one, ya know. It's the evening of National Poetry Day, and World Animal Day.

          • Michael Edwards

Yup - the dog's just chewed my latest masterpiece
