BITTER.

Fay Slimm.

Bitter.

Wilted
has love.

Starved,
it
sickened.

A weighty
result
now lies
with
tomorrow.

How often
my
heart
saw this
and
sighed.

Does
release
feel
the better
for
bitter
goodbyes ?

Release feels better when the mind knows the situation was not right for the both of you. Love shared is the most wonderful flower we have in our lives and from it spring many riches. Love misplaced is a torturous existence teaching us things we have to learn painfully.
    Either way, Love endures.

GOOD MORNING FAY ~ I'm just off to work and have had no time to en an ODE today. Love the Shape of your Poem (very El Greco) and it looks like falling tear drops which befits the Subject.

Sadly so often there is neither time nor opportunity for those BITTER GOODBYES ~ and the sadness hangs suspended in time FOREVER.

Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BLESSINGS BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡

    A thoughtful write Fay.
Meanwhile - release feels better for one when one has gagged me, so I can't sing! Aww, I'm horrible to me. lol.
