Pinch a penny
Beg a penny
Rob a penny
Poor
Find a penny
Earn a penny
Not a penny
More
Loan a penny
Gift a penny
Turn a penny
Wealthy
Lose a penny
Spend a penny
Always a penny

Bring it all back says I in a moment of nostalgia - copper, groat, thruppeny bit, bob, tanner, florin, crown, half crown, farthing what have I forgotten? Love the write Andrew - thanks for the memories.
Sixpence Michael, as in 'Sing a song of......' Now it's started me singing again! Argghhh!
I think you've covered all the bases...
Thanks Michael
A fine write Andrew. Unfortunately we gotta spend several pennies at some places, if we want to 'spend a penny', in some cases 30 pennies! That's 30 goes. Enough for about 4 or 5 days. Can we do 30 goes at once? lol.
You're right Orchi. uless it's a number two
You're wrong on the sixpence though... not a copperling that one was a nickeling... like the shilling bob
Cheers for the read
