A RAMBLE IN THE BRAMBLE

Michael Edwards

A RAMBLE IN THE BRAMBLE

A ramble through the bramble

can be quite a gamble

take it slowly at an amble

never ever quickly scramble

‘cause if you should ever tumble

it’s a hell to disentangle.

So very true, those brambles take no prisoners - of is it that they DO take prisoners.

    • Michael Edwards

They do take prisoners - they are known as the Back Berets - they're quite a bunch. 🙂

Large family - Bram, Gam, Am, Scram and Tum - they are a mad bunch. Not like us eh Orchi?

Ha - - Love all the apt rhyming words in this poetic warning against tumbling into the brambles my friend --- hope you have never been entangled while ambling. - - ouch - just the thought of tumbling in and having to wangle a way out agin.!!!!

Having posted this very useful advice I hope I never do tumble in the bramble - I'd feel a bit of a prick. 🙂 🙂

Michael, are you an artist, as well. Are those drawings on you page, your own?

          • Michael Edwards

Thanks Tamara - yes I am an artist. My main medium is watercolour and I undertake commissions , do demonstrations and run workshops. Keeps me busy. thanks for such a lovely comment.

Well, Michael, it's good to know you are keeping busy. I once took a course in charcoals, watercolors and oils. The most fun I ever had. I loved watercolors best.

              Enjoy life!
