The elfin Autumn has conspired
To fashion herself
As a kaleidoscope
She hopes
To dazzle the admiring sun
To have him with his crystal elegance
Spin her round
To facet her colours
Into a glorious dance

~Laura~
This is such a great write - I love it. A fave
A fine write Laura. Now, shall we call it Fall or Autumn? But what rhymes with 'Autumn'? Tum-tum. lol. Now how on earth can we do a rhymed poem out of that?! lol.
Try this:
It was a day of Autumn
And I was hungry, with a rumbling tum-tum!
(I talk some rubbish, I know!). lol.
Tum tum too roo
Tum tum too ray
Orchi's on a roll today
Erm, an especially waffly day for me? Am I over-doing it with my rubbish? Do I always?! heehee.
Lorna you have wrapped Autumn in elegant skirts of vivid fantasy - well done and first rate writing my friend.
Beautiful.
Is that you in that gorgeous dress Laura.
Wow! really beautiful!
