Spring's Explosion

Debsspot

From barren winter skeletons

to blossom laden greenery

In the blink of an eye.

You can feel the joy of emergance.

The sun's warmth and the plenty it feeds

brings the bees and the birds.

There is a vigour of renewal about the world.

Spring's explosion.

Lucky Australia! Thanks for the pretty word picture Deb. I have one last lingering rose among the fall leaves in the garden!

Thanks Lorna. I love roses as well. We have a rose bush near our front door. One day it had one bloom. Two days later it had more that 15. Glorious. It's like so much excitement.

Beautiful write and a tribute to "The Daughter of the Sun," where I'm from.

I enjoyed this poem, but it made me miss my family there (mother's side).

          Keep posting. 🙂
