There is a little dog of scruff
 Knowing he ain't that tough

 He'll come to you
 Looking all cool

 Friendly people don't be fooled
Any grub you have is his too

 Turning this back
 He'll not give a crap
 But if he does
 you'll be in luck

Rubbing deep to smell for weeks
Making sure he's no fellow sheep

Being Jack is more than a name
It's about earning the glory & fame

Never will there be another Russell
Letting nothing ever burst his bubble

So for my bubby I write this
Never have I known a mut like it
Who can piss in a food bowl
Not get any out side of it

To master this is no easy feat!

 - Comment from author about the poem: Thought I'd change it up and write something fun ;) Yes it is true one morning I came down to find he'd filled his food bowl up for me

Never tried it myself lol - Gave me a smile for the morning.
Glad I could return the penguin fun 😉
I should play this way more often
A fine write and pic Dan. Swoon! lol. I thought he may have done the 'other' in his bowl!
I know - our cat always leaves the loo seat up - does he?! lol
Good fun write Dan, he will give you so much joy.
Always my backup when I'm looking what ones to read out loud. Thank you!
