Spaces.
My thanks to poets M. Rilke,
R. Dowden and Kahlil Gibran.
In partnered love it holds true
as best means,
that each stand, at times,
a little away
This allows differing others
deeper breathing
Harmony's chord stays taut if
loosely chained.
Consonance comes not only
by union,
as blessings of solitude
always reveal.
Mystic the peace when trust
molds a duo.
Trees grow the better with
spaces between.

Oh yes! Much love with cords that bind loosely .......... it's funny too because from what I can understand (and it's not much) of quantum mechanics, there ARE invisible ties between all things constantly vibrating even through distances..........
Yes there are wondrous ties between differing living things which all vibrate -- we know so little of nature's vast powers yet wisdom is there no doubt - - thanks so much dear Lorna - for your kind and thoughtful observations in this comment on Spaces - - so pleased you enjoyed the read.
Super work Fay
Mucho gratitude for your constant support Michael .
ANGELA HERE FAY : Thanks for highlighting the importance of SPACE in LOVE & LIFE. When I was in ESSEX (UK) with BRIAN we had a lot in common but also separate interests. I was interested in Marshall Arts and Brian in Country Music with a Capital C ! This and other things gave us SPACE ! There are 11,500 miles between us now until Easter 2019 ! BUT absence (distance ?) has made our Hearts grow fonder : as your elegant Poem suggests ! Please pray for Auckland : we are all in shock over the murder of a lovely Young Lady : Grace Millane from Wickford in Essex : Brian is also in shock in Essex ! Thanks for the POWER of your elegant Poetry !
Love in the Spirit : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Wonderful work once more Fay.
I do enjoy Kahlil Gibran's work.
Blessed be those spaces.. the bigger the better, but not always,
sometimes.. tis the closeness of them that is most important.. a splendid poem Fay.. I'm quite partial to a bit o Kahil Gibran too x
Thanks for the visit and comment Neville - yes indeed those spaces have to be judged just right -- then harmony rises and humans grown upright as well as trees ........... so pleased you too like a sampling of Gibran - his book The Prophet has gems of wisdom tucked between lines which always capture me.
My pleasure Fay, and yes... a magnificent read
