Just Friends

M.E.M.

His face becomes animated as he speaks passionately.

The way he comforts without knowing.

He makes me think,

He makes me talk

Feel.

He wants to learn.

Teaches me things I never knew, I never knew.

Filled to the brim with stories from all over.

The quick, unthinking touch of my hair as he leaves.

We are friends,

Just friends and will never be more.

We don’t need more.

With friends you need nothing else, they are special.
