On Waking
Once upon awakening
yet
before the first kiss of dawn
both her retina’s
caressed and blinking
pastel strobe effects are born
Then his poem swiftly read before
She took her breakfast
On the lawn
Partly ritual and now
Part her famous repartee…
Only moments later tho
Her palms went searching
and so very
very desperately
For that place she thought
his shadow slept
It was then no less
he realised
That he wanted to be forever
in her depths and debt…
Twas also then he noticed
broken leather sandal strap
and discarded robe so very
full of the scent Patchouli
Ah’ yes both arms were
stretched about her head and
legs well kissed and wet with
sweet dew from somewhere set
A golden triangle beckoned…

Well I have my interpretation - based, thankfully, on a long memory. Much enjoyed - thanks for posting - I will return to it later.
thank you, I take it that's a yes then
Err - yes.
Wonderful write Neville, it leads me in one way only and the answer was yes.
I feel most precariously balanced here on this pedestal, but whilst up here, please accept my very sincere thank you's... N
It all started with those swoony palms! lol. I must 'get out more' as they say.
you really must
I will get my coat, get out more, let my hair down, have a less sheltered life, all that stuff....!
be careful out there, the world has changed a little bit since 1066.. let me know when ya back safely..
Erm yes, not been out much since 1066.....
Early morning coupling is good for those born as larks but not for owls - a read which revives memories for me - thanks for journey back to lovely times Neville.
if I helped you to achieve a few of those memories, then I am well and truly made up.. 🙂 N
Another dunk into the scented draw of an early morning bare tease stripping to show her repartee. Grrrreat read this............... x
