The PARAS are based in Essex and their excellent BAND

perform a Public Christmas Concert every year ~ in a CHURCH.

It is always a very Joyous Occasion showcasing the musical

talent of the PARA BAND.  My Poem outlines the Programme

and there was audience participation in the Carols and a glass

of wine in the interval. They also perform in Essex & The World

during the year ! LOVE to ALL ~ BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

This poem is presented as a RHYMING (alternate lines)

Hearing a Military Band is always joyous and even more so when they play Christmas music.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ I agree they always pull all the stops out ! I've added a recording of the BAND (not Christmas) please check. I sure was a very enjoyable Concert ! Love & blessings to you BOTH ~ BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Sounds like a 'wish I was there' concert.

Thanks Uncle Mike ~ Yes it sure is ~ always ~ a not to be missed CONCERT. I love BRASS BANDS and I have now included a recording (please CHECK !). Thanks for your comment ~ Yours as always BRIAN !

Agree witn Michael - would I had been there to enjoy the performance and atmosphere Brian - lovely read and God bless the Paras.

        • ANGELA & BRIAN

Thanks FAY it is always a JOYOUS occasion and there was a bit of humour in a deconstructed 12 days of Christmas ! The PARAS are an excellent and essential arm of the Military. There were about SIX Ladies in the BAND and Ladies can now be FRONTLINE PARATROUPERS dropping into very dangerous situations ! We need to PRAY for all our MILITARY in a very volatile age ! Yours as always BRIAN.

A fine write B&A. I'm getting old. A carol service was in a church, but a big and draughty building. I didn't go. They sometimes don't put heating on for us 'oldies' - or any age. I can't focus if I get increasingly colder.

I understand your sentiments Uncle Steve ~ My DAD needs to wrap up well in unheated Churches. The Church (C of E) last night was very warm ! Thanks for your comment ~ Yours BRIAN

I'm glad someone(s) was warm. I suspect I would not have been warm, even with lots of people there. It was a Council-arranged Service, so maybe a bit 'so-so' and waffly?! It's no fun though, whatever age, just getting more chilly as the service goes on. I shall have to dance, to warm up, though I seem to avoid such places. (Oohh go on, it'll do ya good!).

HOLA OSO GRANDE MIO ! Love the programme : It made me sad that I wasnt with you like last year ! Love the video you attached. They do have BRASS BANDS in NZ. Don't forget to send BB Video you promised me !
Abrazos y Besos con todo de mi Amor :
              Tu ANGELA d'AMOR 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
