Dogs have masters.

Cats have staff.

Dogs have love.

Cats have a laugh.

    So very true.

In the words of my father "Cats are arrogant creatures!"

    • Michael Edwards

My Dad also had a saying about cats - 'he called them one of Gods most useless creatures. I don't altogether go along with him but I do berate the thoughtless owners who allow them to wander the streets. If you want a cat take it out on a lead.

Oh lol, good write and pic M. I like both cats and dogs!

      • Michael Edwards

But what about the owners? Dog owners have to control their pets and pick up their mess (the dogs that is) after them - if only the law applied to cat owners as well.

Ahh I see M. There is that too. Will Miss Berles clean it up? Has she a cat or dog?

        • ANGELA & BRIAN

Thanks UNCLE MIKE : The Annual Battle of MOGGIES vs DOGGIES ! In my poem today (BABY BIRD) I mentioned my dog PERRO (A Golden Lab) but dont tell BRIAN as you know he is a No. 1 Felineophile ! We need to remember our Pets over Christmas. Ruth & I only have TROPICAL FISH in the house we Share but we have met many KIWI CATS & DOGS and they are just as pampered as in the UK !
          Love & Blessings @ Yuletide : ANGELA
🧡🧡🧡🧡 Love the Painting : made me homesick for the COTSWOLDS : especially the Phone Box !

          • Michael Edwards

Thanks Angela - sadly not many phone boxes left. In our Town the council removed one and there was such an uproar they had to reinstate it.
