Meadow

Simon Bromley

Midmorning dew amidst evergreen,

Nestling pearls in mead serene.

Charcoal in bough in silhouette,

Lyrical Fay in coronet.

Dusted with buttercups crowning blades,

Pale blue, mauve, bird serenades.

Hidden beauty in flourishing bloom,

Ambiance unruffled divine attune.

Flutter of butterflies’ delicate in flow,

Blossom and flora and fauna in grow.

Trees in groves caress the skies,

Nature in beauty rhapsodized.
