Simon Bromley

Meadow

Midmorning dew amidst evergreen,

Nestling pearls in mead serene.

Charcoal in bough in silhouette,

Lyrical Fay in coronet.

Dusted with buttercups crowning blades,

Pale blue, mauve, bird serenades.

Hidden beauty in flourishing bloom,

Ambiance unruffled divine attune.

Flutter of butterflies’ delicate in flow,

Blossom and flora and fauna in grow.

Trees in groves caress the skies,

Nature in beauty rhapsodized.

            This is gorgeous.
            Divine.
I am in awe and envy at your ability to capture such beauty so perfectly.

I need poems like this in my novel.
