A sight radiant, bright
On Beth'lem's holy night
Shepherds in the field their watch did keep
O'er all their flocks of sheep

Glory to God on high
He has now come to us nigh
The Christ-child born, redemption's dawn
Rejoice, no longer mourn
The angel of the Lord there
The Lord's glory most fair
Did round about the shepherds shine

The angel said to them, Fear not
Joyfulness be your lot - Chorus
Good tidings of great joy sure
To all people e'ermore
For unto you is born this day

Mystery no longer hid
A Saviour who is Christ the Lord
