The decorations are down,
The Christmas has been stripped bare
And laid low,
The cards have been sacked,
The jigsaw is back on the table,
Normality returns.

And a sigh of relief in our house - I really hate the mess and disruption the the decorations and cards bring with them - as you say: bah, humbug.
Yes Michael, it i always a relief when normality returns to the home.
You done that jigsaw yet?! Does it feature a scene from 1066? We might leave ours until Sunday - last of the '12 days of Christmas'.
No, we take ours down as soon as possible.
This jigsaw should be completed today then I have others to start. Somebody rode off with my 1066 one - there was an arrow hanging from it.
You getting ready for that 1794 thingy in June?

Ive also taken down my few cards ~ dismantled my mini CMas Tree and handmade decorations and flashing Snowman ! It looks very bare without it but c'est la vie. It is even more bare without ANGELA ~ Roll on OCTOBER !
