So I start thinking

The dog wisely
ignores me
whenever I start to speak.

Good fun write.
Dogs can always show what is good.
If the Dude (my dog) is my biggest critic, I'm in trouble. He usually leaves the room if I don't shut the door.
My kind of poem - great write.

Takes a good trainer to get a dog to this stage.
