Students
We are both students of
Different forms of beauty
My lady labours in front of
Tall mirrors daily
To perfect her art
And whilst she is the most
Severe critic of each
Fresh line or blemish
She might find there
I practice daily
In a temple without mirrors
To remind me of all the
Women I have ever failed
To seduce with poetry

you may be write... but you are certainly a diamond...
A fine write N.
Thank you my friend, much appreciated. Neville
Its all done with mirrors and trickery. Least ways, that was the story of my success. However, as i sit here reminiscent of my failures, i guess i must have broken a mirror or two.
Maybe we should form a cult, in the meantime though I thank you for taking time to consider these words of mine..... Neville
I saw a great painting of a most handsome fellow - then reality kicked in - mirrors have that effect on me.
reality has that effect on us all... tis not the bells.. tis them mirrors.... and of course, poetry...
Those mirrors can be misleading, I was in a store once and I saw this old man coming towards me - I was walking towards a mirror!
you sure it was not the mirror running away from you.....
The beauty of poetry is in its seduction whatever the subject and this read allures - -- missed it first time around but am sure of wanting to view it again - mirrored and saved to live the dream.
thank you dear Fay.... You really are most kind... N
My, my!!
None want to stay silent,
The majic of your prose draws even a devil like me - no mirrors please
Sshh.. everyone will want a bite.... Neville
