A COUPLE MORE

Michael Edwards

Dearth of affection

Denied an education

Driven to despair.

Deep in precious thought

Dynamic ruminations

Decisions are made.

    Double takes of D's
    Dragging feelings from my mind
    Daytime now begins.

Miss Berles got any 'D's in her cupboard that I could use?

    • Michael Edwards

Her cupboar* is empty - the problem *eepens.

I let another one slip in - 'What to do to*ay?' Should be 'What to *o to*ay?' It's a bit sad this - have I nothing better to do?! lol.

        • Michael Edwards

Nothing better to do? - You slippe* another one in - where *i* you fin* it?

It got in by mistake. Well, it won't do any harm - one extra *. As long as it's not (*&&^%$£\"!*#. Woof! That started Fido barking, and my own ears are burning too! Is it Night now?

            Dastardly deeds discovered
            Doggedly demanding dictation
            Direction deposing dissention,
            Dilemma, dismay, decay.
            Duplicity duly deposited
            Disaster diverted - g'day

            • Michael Edwards

              Decidedly delectable discourse dusk

Ah' yes.. now I see it.. is Ascough's Restaurant still there... I know the first one burnt down coz they had to cancel my booking....

                    • Michael Edwards

Yes but in a new location - Ascoughs old premises is now occupied by a new restaurant called Rock Salt - by coincidence I did a couple of watercolour commissions of Rock Salt only last year - if I can find the images on the computer I'll post them later in the week.

small world, I used to be a regular diner at Ascough's the new one is a lot larger and I only ate there on three occasions..

                        • Michael Edwards

It's a long journey from Somerset for a meal but Ascoughs is a great restaurant and very popular - need to book or you won't get in most of the time.

                          • Neville

yes I know... I used to dine there when I worked in Northampton
