EARLYNESS.

Fay Slimm.

Earlyness.

Come let us leave dreams and put on the morning.
Waken to first trembling birth of the day.
Listen as mist gives way to symphonic scales which
stir dawn's ethereal music.
Watch as blue dome widens its azured maw.
Note how warmth cracks open buds' sticky coatings
of blooms' dew-soaked velvet
and applaud when night's jacket of cold disappears.

Let us imagine the tune nature hums as rays give
voice to burgeoning gleam.
Nod in agreement as chill is de-frocked and hours
of dim's cloying damp forgotten.
Move with the nectar of virgin haste when light
races new joys to prepare.
Dress in change's excitement and learn morning's
story written on earlyness.

Let us produce smiles of welcome to cleansed air.
Drink the young freshly-pressed juices
of day as blaze digests shadows of inert gloom.
Using light's glory to start sprung fare
divest worn nocturnal attire, shirk drowse, adorn
yawns in zest and put on the morning.

A fine write Fay. You seeing those mornings dawning a little more now? Getting lighter a couple of minutes more each day. But if dark cloudy mornings, it may take longer to get light, so we're not 'winning' then. Doh!

GOOD MORNING FAY ~ Thanks for an evocative picture and title for a perfect poem ! It suggests (V 1.) that there is a uniqueness as each Dawn unfolds ! In V 2. We listen to Natures morning hum as her every aspect bursts forth in to life of a New Day ! V 3. turns Anthropocene as WE smile as WE breath the cleansed Air and quaff freshly squeezed juice and enjoy the sunlight that dawn brings to both West (Cornwall) & East (Essex) ~ AMEN ! Yours BRIAN ! It happens here too FAY (although its 11 pm here) every day ! Loved your Poem & Picture (Very N Z in January !) : Blessings & Love ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
