  A fine write B&A. I saw a comedy programme. A snobbish remark was 'Oh, I suppose SOME have to work weekends' as if it was unthinkable, or only for 'common' folk.

    Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ Something for the Weekend Sir ? Pleased you liked it. The shops have to keep open ~ the busses & trains have to keep running ~ we need electicity & hospitals etc and of course Parsons (who preach against Sunday Working !) have to WORK !

    I know you’re having great weather there in Auckland! I just spoke with my husband and son and they told how great it was today for them to play golf! They’re at KING ISLAND (Australia) for a few days and I’m in New York in freezing weather!

  I didn't work weekends - well not officially. the truth is I was on call 24/7 . But now I'm retired everyday is a weekend day. Yippeeee.

    Thanks UNCLE MIKE : Brian & I are much too young to imagine what it must be like to be retired : every day a SATURDAY ! Hoewever when the time comes 2050+ I am sure we will enjoy it just as much as we both enjoy our Day Jobs. Its 11 pm (Saturday) here but it was a lovely day 23C (73F) & Sunny. Brain tells me SNOW in the UK ! Thanks for comment.
