FROM WHERE DO THE BREEZES BLOW?

FROM WHERE DO THE BREEZES BLOW?

Tell me please, I wish to know

from where do all the breezes blow?

Is there a place high in the sky

where gentle breezes with a sigh,

when given birth

emerge from high,

and start their journey down to earth?

So tell me please, I wish to know

from where do all the breezes blow?

---------

Or could they be the winds set free

by people just like you and me?

From where do they (brussel) sprout?

Now there's a question, for sure... Nicely poemed Michael

    • Michael Edwards

I've been scratching my ... errr ....head over this quandary!

Those breezes can be an enigma but some of them are so fresh and wonderful, others from people are not.

I have added a last line which gives further food (vegetables to be precise) for thought.

            Michael,

I would say this is a low blow of a poem...
but that would be a BOLD lie! So let this gentle breeze from the USA to the UK blow your way and gently say...

“Excellent Maestro with your artistic pen!
May the ink in your pen and the paint on your brush gently flow to scribe and to paint forevermore!”

            Have a wonderful Sunday!

Ah thank you Laura - my brush is still at work - led a workshop on Friday night for a local art group - I think it went down well - will post my demo piece when I get a chance to photo it. Its just great how through poetry the hand of friendship extends across the world

Are we back on the subject of TRUMP again Michael?

The laws of flatulence go back to our childhood.
Given a fair wind i used to be able to stomach green cabbage, but thats behind me now.

                  When I suffer discomfort I don't despair - I know it'll pass.
