I have not travelled far in my life but I would be quite happy to live in the Yorkshire Dales, Gods Country.
Thanks UNCLE ANDY : Ive lived in the UK & Spain (with Grandparents) and now NEW ZEALAND ! If Im honest I like them all the same because I can be with FRIENDS & FAMILY. When you choose somewhere to live its the PEOPLE who are most important not the CLIMATE. The choice is different for a HOLIDAY and Ruth & I are going to JAPAN for week in September ! Ive added CLIFF RICHARD (Summer Holiday) please check !

A fine write B&A. Well, on UK telly - a programme. They decide whether to emigrate to Australia permanently. They nearly always do anyway, about 90% of the time I reckon, so we can guess the final outcome. We were sweating last July in UK (your NZ equivalent this month?). Lovely and freezing today in UK, if ya like that. Doh! Will I be warmer if I stand on my head - the nearest I can be to being in NZ, the other side of the world?! I'm only trying to re-create your weather conditions. lol.
Thanks Uncle Steve : Its mid-Summer now in Auckland (25 C) and in JULY it will be WINTER but 10 C (50 F) minimum and NO SNOW : sub-Tropical ! Brian always watches Wanted Down Under (especially the NZ ones !) in case I refuse to go home in October ! Everyone at the Hospital wants me to STAY ! Im pleased to miss the UK Winter ! Ive added CLIFF RICHARD (Summer Holiday) please check !

About to enter Laura's good books - I would chose Italy - fabulous food, architecture, scenery, culture - my favourite country by far from places like Bolsano right down to Montelbano territory and all places in between. Must have been there a dozen times and never tire of it.
Ahhh YES UNCLE MIKE : ITALY ! Wonderful language (very like Spanish !) great food : coffee & wine : and handsome Men ! I have visited many times for the Architecture & Climate as well ! Im surprised Spain was not on the list ? Im so pleased N Z was top : now I understand WHY ! Lots of UK Seniors here SKIING (Spending their Kids Inheritance !). Brian tells me mucho snow in UK : Are you snowed in ?

Thanks FAY ~ Yes I can vouch for NEW ZEALAND : Especially the weather ! BRIAN tells me CORNWALL is under 6 inches of SNOW : keep warm ! It is expensive to visit N Z but worth every PENNY. Im surprised Spain wasnt on the list its the BRITS fave ACTUAL destination : but this is a wish list !
