A HAPPY FAMILY OF CLOWNS !
FOR CIRCUSES to come ~ Circuses must go
COMPLETE ~ No Clowns ~ No Horses & No Show
Where once the BIG TOP stood is now ~ just mud
I'd have gone with them ~ If I only could !
How could the OOM PAH PAH ~ RAZAMATAZ
GIRLS in Pink Tights & Bras ~ and all that JAZZ
Just disappear into Space ~ without Trace ?
And leave ME with tears ~ streamin' down ME FACE !
CIRCUS out-of-World pleasures ~ feed my SOUL
The CIRCUS makes me ~ feel I am WHOLE
Side shows with ginormous Living White Rat
What would my Science Teacher make of that ?
I have resolved to disengage BRAIN
Till the Great British Circus comes back again !

As a CHILD I loved CIRCUSES and wished that they could
stay ALL YEAR. It really was another World. Brighter and
Louder and more scary ! Lions & Tigers & High Wire Walkers.
Exotic Ladies on Beautiful Horses & CLOWNS CLOWNS CLOWNS
mad and out of control and breaking all the normal rules !
Ive never been scared of CLOWNS and still love the CIRCUS ~
But its not the same. ELEPHANTS and other exotic Animals
banned ~ Clowns less maniacal ~ Ladies less Sexy and a
Speed limit on the HORSES. CIRCUSES were always Politically
Incorrect and a PC Circus is tamer than Punch & Judy and that
has been banned in some Seaside Resorts for its overt violence
and cruelty to CROCODILES & JUDY ! What do you think has
all the FUN been censored ? Love to ALL ~ BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡

Thanks FAY ~ I think anyone over 30 has fond memories of REAL CIRCUSES ! I support RSPCA and I always ask to see the Animals. In the UK a lot look better (they have to !) than those in ZOOS ~ another of my Passions ! Pleased it brought back happy memories ~ I can see you on the trapeze ! We had a logo of a clown face at one place of work. It changed, not due to PC matters, but thought 'babyish' by some, as we expanded into covering more age groups, not only children.
The new logo was crashingly boring - a few coloured stripes. Durrr! We were informed we're having it, like it or lump it. I don't recall any staff involvement in choosing the logo, but nothing new there then, in difficult later days working there.
Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ Clowns & G*l*y*o*s and other symbols of your youth are now non-PC ! Things which brought Joy & Love are replaced by the nondescript. ANGELA collects Ethnic Dolls but I guess they will be banned soon. Bonfire Night will soon be banned because it is offensive to Catholics & Italians and ~ if the UK Teams keep winning the SIX NATIONS RUGBY will be bannead by the EU. What has happened to the Famous British Sense of HUMOUR ? Yours as always ~ BRIAN
And the little flashlights they used to sell (to parent's annoyance) that we would all twirl in the dark! Oh magic.
Thanks LORNA ~ Because we have to be PC the magic has gone from Circuses and many other areas of life. School Chemistry was a minefield but now it is all made sterile (and unexciting) by strict H & S regulations. Even water is considered a HAZARD ! Im surprized FIREWORKS haven't been banned in the UK ~ private BONFIRES (in back gardens) are discouraged and CIVIC ONES encouraged ~ but they lack intimacy. Anything that twirls and glows in the Dark is consdiered subservive !

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ Things have changed a lot in the 21st C. I was 17 in 2000 so I do have some clear memories of a childhood in the 20th C ~ ANGELA was 12 ! Soon we will be Little Englanders again ~ We won't even be EUROPEANS ! Pleased you enjoyed it !

I agree with you I was only 11 when the new Millenium (2000) started but things have got more PC and a lot of the fun has gone. I have been to a CIRCUS without Animals & Scary Clowns. But I do like your picture of the very JOLLY Clown Family !

Weather has been milder |(NO SNOW) but if it snows on Sunday I will make an S-MAN for Mum & Dad \"Fer Auld Lang Syne !\" Im getting to an AGE where SNOW is more of an inconvenience than a JOY ! 35 used to be MIDDLE AGE now its 50 ~ AMEN. Pleased you are enjoying the SUN in NZ ! It will be a real Winter when you come Home again ~ In NOVEMBER ! Its gone 11pm here I guess you are still in your FIRST CLINIC !
