THIS POEM IS BASED ON A UK SURVEY OF 30+ LADIES
WHO SAID THEY HAD BEEN "UNLUCKY IN LOVE" !
I WANT someone who fits like a "Hand in a Glove"
Why must I be so unlucky in Love ?
It is a pity : that Im not more pretty
But some MEN Ive had : have been really BAD
How can it be there's no one out there for ME ?
One reason WHY is the Im really SHY !
I try to be BOLD : but am I too OLD ?
The MEN that I meet are SOUR : not SWEET
My HEALTH lets me Down : cos it makes me Frown
I think Im a HONEY : but I aint got no MONEY !
To find LOVE takes time : so Im never in line
Im reading the BOOK ! But I dont know where to look !
What about YOU : are YOU looking too ?
Dont be left behind : SEEK AND YOU TOO WILL FIND : AMEN !

BRIAN & I found each other TWO YEARS ago and plan
to be married at EASTER 2020 when I will be 32 and
BRIAN 36 ! However some of the TEN reasons cited
above for being "Unlucky in Love" did apply to me from
20 to 28 ! My DAD is Spanish and longed to walk his
Beautiful Daughter down the aisle with a SPECIAL MAN !
He even arranged a few dates for me ! I was career minded
and didn't finish my studies and intern until I was 24 !
I had a few MEN FRIENDS and then I met BRIAN and
everything fell into place ! Our love has even survived
SEVEN MONTHS on work exchange in NZ 11,500 miles
apart ! Every Blessing Ladies your True Love is out there !
TWELVE of the FOURTEEN LINES in this Sonnet have internal
Rhyme ! Personally I find if a POEM is SAD or Serious : That
internal RHYME lightens it a BIT : OK Love ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡

THANKS UNCLE STEVE : Lots of my Older Friends (70+) are neutral in LOVE ! But it is ironic in the Retirement Homes that the DAMES outnumber the BEAUS 10:1 and (despite VIAGRA !) its 20 years too late ! Although some do get married and always tell me "Its just for COMPANIONSHIP !" Pleased you enjoyed the Package ! Its 8 am (THURS) here and Im getting ready for work ! YES UNCLE MIKE : Perry Como ! Great Artist : Great Song ! Brian & I love the Popular Music from the UK & USA in the 50s 60s 70s a great era. Only Tony Bennet left to fly the Ballad Flag. Most ex-Pats in NZ play that music for Parties & 60\'s Dances & Sing Alongs ! Pleased you enjoyed it !
