Perfection in person

IsraaD

If not to see you, why would the sun even bother rising?

(do I envy the sun?)

If not to touch your skin, why would the waves race to shore?

(Am I jealous of the waves?)

If not to be compared to you, then why would flowers bloom?

Everyday that I cannot have you I sit as clouds cry your name.
