PAINS OF YESTERDAY
From tears to sleep
to float on waves of deep remorse
in silent seas of long lost souls
till rosy streaks in eastern skies
bring wakefulness
as night rains go
in nectarous flow
the prospect cleansed
of all the pains
of yesterday.

The pains of yesterday will always be forgotten as we go into each wonderful new day.
Strange isn't it that the worries of the night fall into insignificance in the day.
I like that, and it is so true. Another of life's gems, how sleeping on it changes ones viewpoint.
Often happens - thanks dusk
Deep and comforting these poetic words of conclusion on sleep's benefit Michael - thanks too for the peep at more of your amazing talent for watercolour.
Thanks so much for your kind words as always dear Fay.
A fine write and pic M. I wanted nectarous flow, so I went to Sainsburys (or wherever it is). They gave me Nectar points!
And I got honey
Oh no, not the honey (I remember the poem!) lol. Am I put off honey for life?
Depends if it's runny or thick set. Ask Miss Berles about it.
Ahh will do. Please excuse me while I be sick, finding out which sort of 'honey' it is!
Meanwhile, I'm a horrible pessimist - Cheer up, there'll be more pains tomorrow! Dunno why some folk complain - tomorrow can only be worse. Doh! (heehee).
OH I remember YESTERDAY !
Thanks for the Pic & Poem Uncle Mike ! Yes SLEEP is a great Healer and since coming to NZ (pure air !) Ive slept like a BABY ! Please check BRIANS POEM today in praise of RIOJA VINO TINTO : thanks. Love the Quay and the boat : I am a very Maritime Girl !

Things always look different in the morning.
Wonderful thoughts Michael.
Todays challenges and tomorrows worries are made more gentle by the number of yesterdays we have in the bank
If only I could come back in a week and tell myself not to worry.
When tomorrow is today eh what? Gives me an idea for a nonsense poem.
Thanks Andrew.
