Ya want to send me presents? Sure!
Just send me a pork pie
What - ya got one left over in ya pantry
From about 1953?
And send me a bottle of sherry too
Or whisky, or any tipple
Just don't forget to add water to it!
Or ya could send Fido a bone instead
Or some dog biscuits
Cos he's barking
Wondering why I'm getting all the presents
And he's got none?
Send him a bone
But not a saucy poem
Or I'll never hear the end of his barking
He has to bark though
He says it's the only way to keep me sane
And keep me from swooning
Or I might be tempted
To read all those hot poems!
Ya know he reads them all for me first, don't you?

99% of the time
Oh, barmy days
Maybe balmy ones too
God willing, I'll stick around for ages more
