DECISIVE.

Fay Slimm.

Decisive.

Dark fast erupts with decisive lust,
locks in skybound eyesight
between banks of cloud.
and blocks all sight of the sun.

Dusk folds close twilight's early hold,
attacks any last view
of homecoming bird flight
and wraps shadows in black gold.

Night awakens and strikes daylight,
cuts late evening rays from
sunset's victorious edge
and shuts in captives tightly.

Love lost in duo's push what wins
then is descending blackness
but when daylight comes back
sun's battle again begins.

A fine write Fay. Reminds of 'Do we have proper rain?' Or will it be 'decisive' rain, not the drizzle or mizzle?!
