In they came,
Woman, man and dog,
Sat down at a table.
Their coffee came,
I looked at them,
Just being nosey,
But then I had to look again.
The dog sat on the floor,
His hair seemed to be parted,
Parted in the middle of his head
And it flowed down the sides.
I looked up at the lady,
Her hair seemed to be parted,
Parted in the middle of her head
And it flowed down the sides.
I was so very strange
To see the lady and the dog
With the same hairstyle.

A fine write Gold. I've heard it said that some people and their dogs look alike.
Very true Orchi.
Love the observation and I've seen similar in the past - great write and what is more - it gives me an idea for a fun write. cheers Andy.
Look forward to seeing it Michael.
It's written - I'll post it tomorrow.
Andy,
I love when you “people watch” because your pen will record what you’ve observed and we, the readers, benefit by your talents!
I enjoyed the read! Thank you for sharing!
My love to Joyce and to you!
~Laura~
Thank you Laura, it gives me pleasure to write about people that I have seen. I did not give this one to the person though.
😃
LOVE ME : LOVE MY DOG !
Thanks Uncle Andy : I have seen similar in UK & NZ : People morphing into their Dogs ! However never Cats : Cats have too much dignity !
Thanks for sharing
Blessings to YOU & JOYCE

Geat observation piece G
Thank you Andrew, I think there is mutual love, certainly it has been that way with the dogs I have had in the past.
what about the bloke.. we all wanna know about the bloke... or at least I do..
He lacked hair and left his wig at home.
lacquering hair particularly in the winter time, my word.. he should have known better...
I knew a lady who had legs like her dawg. It was a basset hound.
On this occasion Goldfinch I imagine you did not offer a copy of your verse to the dog in question... ooppss i mean lady.
Thanks d a, no I this occasion I did not offer her the poem.
lol,a new generation,no doubt
Thanks ron, very true.
