Tune: St Hugh
('Lord teach us how to pray aright')
1 Chronicles 12 v.18
*********
The Spirit said through Amasai
An army captain nigh
We are your people, King David
We shall not keep this hid
We are on your side, Jesse's son (i.e. David)
You the anointed one
Peace, peace to you and unto who
That help you, sure they do
For your God helps you, so you shall
Make progress, prosper well
We shall be loyal, encourage
You, so take bold courage
So David did them welcome there
His people, they did share,
In his victories, gained the land
God worked by His good hand

Great write Orchi
word perfect with the tune I normally strugle but well done today (Or am I getting better)
Anyw ays thank you again for the start to the day
Thanks Andrew. There are some 'irregular' metres. That'll baffle us, throw us off course! lol
blessed are the choir masters
who make sense of it all
a note wrong here can sound a din
no matter if errors are small
I can't write music, and can't really read it either. I have to know the tune first, then go from there. Some of them church choirs can be fierce - bit like the Mafia. Well, one I knew of anyway - 'Sing what WE want, or else...'
LOL I can't sing
LOve the macaroons
Yes indeed, give peace a chance... we need to sign up to a universal peace process and monitor accordingly... just sayin... N
Thanks N. Your middle name Amasai? Some more names to follow in this short series….

Fine work.

Thanks M. Yes lol.
May that peace come to us all.
