Tune: Blaenwern
('All Saints Of Wales')
Psalm 31 parts
*********
In you, O LORD, I put my trust
I who am mere human, dust
Let me never be ashamed here
May your righteousness appear
Bow down your ear, help me quickly
Save me and my troubles see
Be my strong rock, my refuge sure
A house, fortress, safe e'ermore
For you name's sake lead me, guide me
Save me from the trap that be
Set for me by my enemies
You are my strength, they shall flee
In to your hand, LORD, I commit
My spirit, for you, each whit
Have redeemed me, come to my aid
LORD God true, in you I staid
I have hated those that regard
Lying vanities, and hard
Be their way, their lifeless idols
No tales of their help are told
But I trust in the LORD, and I
Will rejoice in you here nigh
I will be glad in your mercy
You have come to my help free
My times are in your hand, LORD, so
Comfort, assurance I know
Deliver me from enemies
So that they LORD each you sees
Save me from my persecutors
And strengthen my supporters
Make your face to upon me shine
Lightened with your light divine
O how great it be, your goodness
Which you have, and do us bless
It be laid up for those who fear
You, and who to you draw near
You have wrought it for those who do
Trust and true confide in you
Shown before all people that they
Great is the LORD then may say
O love the LORD, all you His saints
He the LORD who never faints
He preserves the faithful, and He
Fully repays the proud, see
Be of good courage, and he shall
Strengthen your heart, you fare well
All you that hope in the LORD, for
He shall help you evermore

I love Wales.. saw Moby Dick six times...
you are gonna be popular in the valleys today orchidee
Thanks N. lol. You gonna give me a welcome in the hillsides, if I'm on me way there?
Well writ Orchidee
Thanks Michael. you got a welcome in the hillsides for me, if Neville hasn't? Or as well as his welcome? I knew a Deinol (in clip) - young-ish priest, slightly flamboyant, wore a white suit with red carnation once, in his out-of-dog-collar attire!
Showing you skills off again I see. Loved it from the start. Orchi. Nice writing.
Thanks Kevin.
MARCH 1st St David's Day : Patron Saint of Wales : I gave all my Female aquaintances a DAFODIL today ! Love the Poem great PSALM : Thanks for sharing & Uplifting : Blessings & love in the SPIRIT : ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thanks B&A. Reminded me of mistletoe. Kiss the Manageress at Christmas? A fate worse than death! lol.(You didn't know her - it was pretty ghastly if I had done so).
Good write but I am still struggling over Wales defeat of England in the rugby last weekend.
Thanks Gold. If we prayed to Saints (not traditional for some of us, nor for me), we should say one to Deinol, etc - as in the hymn. But I don't know those guys. Were they around in 1066?
