Paper Cuts
Faceless
Paper dolls in chains
Cut and strung from magazines
Watching as each heart bleeds a mere paper cut apart

Faceless.
A painful metaphor.
But maybe Iām just having a grey paper day...
thank you for popping in.. I hope your day turns golden... N
Hearts that close should never feel more than a whisper away when apart.......... another good slice of food for thought Nev.
What a luverly thought... thank you my dear Fay..... N
Good write N.
Thank you sir..... Neville
Oohh call me...I dunno, Sir, or whatever. Just don't call me Lucy! Random name there lol.
Yes we do see them along the high street, in their chains of magazine picture devotion. Hearts bleeding from failure to connect with the rest of humanity..... but some of them look marvellous.
With so very many possible interpretations, it is almost impossible to be wrong... thank you DA.... N
Can't they just - makes me think of Russian dolls - so full of themselves - love the shorty .
I can see where you are coming from .... thank you Michael... Neville
Faceless, paper dolls are truly dangerous to a man's heart. However, with a face, some flesh, and a name, they can hurt even more. Great little thought provoking ditty. Loved it.- Phil A.
That'll do for me... cheers Phil.... N
Thanks Neville.
An excellent poem.
We must preserve paper more to prevent the pain.
Keep writing Fine B.
