Ardour.
To a shy beau.
Try love's seduction and become replete.
I treat with lushness.
My skill overflows.
Mere tokens of passion are all but deceit.
I relax shyness.
My real ardour shows.
Romantic potions raise mere paltry desire.
I apply moreness.
My wine maketh man.
Taste lips of abundance, discover my fire.
Uncap and tap me.
Then escape if you can !

- Comment from author about the poem: The pose at a window brought seduction to mind - hence the Lady's bold invitation. Hope you enjoy.

Now, should I try some of this! Should I meet her? Anything to with 'ardour', and my 'watchdog' Fido barks, to warn me off. I'll put him in the shed a while, and let me hair down. What Fido don't see won't hurt him! heehee.
Yes letting your hair down Orchi means you take up the invitation from that bold maiden.... oooh - better keep Fido in that shed for a while methinks.

My word, what beast lurks within?
Do not go gentle through that dark window dusk, rage, rage against the .... no, hang on a minute.... it actually sounds like fun..... but what commitment is sought?
Hope no beast works within that Lady's bold invite - your Dylanesque quote made me laugh D.A. -- I love the conversational way you think aloud in your comments my friend - -- so pleased you vote it a fun-write as I intended.................. thanks a lot my friend. for your continued encouragement .
Lusty and bawdy, like rolling in the clover. Oooooh....such anti Victorian behavior. I'm sure it all happened behind closed doors. Perhaps, they were locked and he could not escape.
A lovely poem with a taste of fiery passion. I like the form of it .She goes from unveiling her powers, to a plea for satisfaction I'm sure this made everyone's day. Really good stuff. - Phil A.
Beautiful seductive write Fay, ardour unleashed.
