Ahead.

 

We, looking to "now"
..........................may see icy goodbyes.


Cold can scribe lonely,
...............................but for only a while.

 

Depression adds no
.......................... extra kindness to time.


Winter sounds saddest
.........................when seen from behind.

 

Though drifts of bleak past
.................... still freeze hurts to pains.


Hope melts the quicker
.........................on frost written names.

 

Fresh dawns ahead will
.........................   deliver more warmth 

 


Love's heat once begun 
.................. can help wings Spring-soar.

              THANKS FOR SHARING FAY : Love the Picture ~ rainbowy & springy ! The style I have always called "interupted doublets" the ........................... providing time for thought ! There is a time paradox ~ between the end of Winter (officially 20 March) and the start of Spring ! Winter winds down too slowly (in some Northern US States it lastd 'til May Day) and Spring springs in suddenly ~ with Lambs & Chickens and a cornucopia of Spring Flowers ! We had a glimpse (21C = 70F) but its back to normal now ! Some of your Pithy couplets resonated with my 35 years experience. !
