about advice they got from their MOTHERS ! The advice from
the FATHERS is hypothetical to complement what MUM said.
Many 21st C Children ask the GOOGLE and get much poorer
advice ! Advice from Dads tends to be COOLER but a little
more aggressive ! What are your memories ?

Thanks UNCLE STEVE : Pleased you enjoyed the presentation. Our Parents are still very important to Brian & I. In both our cases our MUMS kept us in check : Our PAPAs were more concerned about our Intellectual level. We are biased but we think between them they did an excellent JOB ! We are doing well in our chosen professions : weve found each other and have some time to be interactive Poets and TIME for GOD !

I had a great Ma & Pa - but Mum ruled.
Dads are often genuinely busy earning a CRUST so at least 80% of the CHILD REARING is on MUM\'s Job Description ! Hoever with most MUM\'s rearing& diciplining a Family seems to be inate ! MUM\'s rule OK !

THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ Your quotes reflect my childhood exactly ! Of course my MUM was at home and therfore more \\\"in contact\\\" if she thought we deserved it ~ for whatever ~ she would administer a sting ~ with her hand ~ a coathanger (her fave weapon) or one of my Dads slippers and that was the closet He ever came to Physical chastisment. He is a Gentleman ~ Classical Pianist ~ Church organist and a Wordsmith ~ a Newspaperman. In the last Century he wore a Bowler Hat on a Sunday ~ very Rees Mogg ! He was much more interestted in Educating us than chastising us. My MUM was the chastiser ! In that sense they complemented each other so I got the best of both Parents. ANGELAS experience was similar !
