SWIM WITH ME
In seas of dreams
you are my dolphin
swim with me.
Soar high
as a swallow
in clouds of foam.
Season our lives
with the salt
of the spray.
I am indebted to Neville whose superb
poem Victims Of Truth inspired this work.

Ah, a tidied up version of the snippet you left on Nev's comment section. I enjoyed the read. The art is nice touch, also.
A short simple piece which would never have been written but for Neville's write. Thanks Nicholas. The art is also a minimalist piece recently completed - so pleased you like it.
May those dreams always be fulfilled.
Beautiful artwork.
Thanks Andy

A good write and pic Michael. I was saying to Gold, there's some film where a boy rides off on a dolphin at the end. I forget the name.
Also, we're all on the ocean wave today, what with Nicholas sailing, and you swimming! Ya swimming the Channel?
Does Miss Berles like sailors?
Didn't Julie London sing about a boy on a dolphin?
Ohh yes, in 1957. There's a 2019 update too. I looked all that up!
And - you got those Christmas presents in yet? A church book reminds me it's only 9 months to go.
We've got all our Christmas Cards but won't write in them as yet in case any of them are brown bread come Christmas. And some are pretty crusty so there's a good chance.
Inspired by such a fine piece your sensual write Mike does more than justice as tribute to Nev's poem - love too the well chosen artwork. Great first read of my morning.
oh thanks - you are very kind.
Happy Christmas there, in case I forget later. It's Lady Day, and the festival of The Annunciation - the announcement by the angel Gabriel of Mary of bearing Jesus - therefore 9 months before He was born.
Dunno if Christmas was originally Dec 25th, but...… you seen Gabriel? Gabry Berle? Another one of that family.
Say Happy Christmas twice and you're okay for the next two years and the bonus is you get one at half price!
Gabry is twin to Colliwob Berles - he's always throwing a tantrum.
A beautiful poem Michael and a very kind but altogether unnecessary little foot note. at the end... Neville
Just a genuine thank you for the inspiration and a further thank you for your comment.
Hey Michael, no prob, no worries, and certainly a pleasure sir... N
I too want to swim with the Dolphins and soar high with the swallows.
