Tune: Unser Herrscher
('Come ye faithful, raise the anthem')
Psalm 107 v.31-42
*********
O that men would praise the LORD for
His goodness for evermore
And for His wonderful works to
The children of men, e'en you!
Let them exalt Him, raise praise high
He great God, yet always nigh
Congregation of the people
Praise Him, and the elders all
He turns rivers to wilderness
Watersprings to waterless
Fruitful land unto barrenness
For the people's wickedness
Turns wilderness to watered land
All is done by His good hand
Dry ground turned into watersprings
All creation to Him sings
There He made the hungry to dwell
In a city, the fed well
They sow fields, vineyards, which do yield
Fruits of increase, blessings sealed
They multiply greatly, prosper
He watches o'er them for sure
But at times again they are low
Oppression, affliction know
Sorrow too, for the LORD pours out
Contempt upon them no doubt
Causes them to wander lonely
In the wilderness they be
Yet He sets the poor on high, they
Shall know His purpose, His way
They rescued from affliction be
Made into great company
Comforted, not solitary
The righteous see, rejoice free
Iniquity, wrong-doing see
In the LORD's true reign of peace

Aww yes, why they call me dinosaur? I never went to Antiques Show. They might have kept me there as an exhibit!
Eh? I can't find my comment where I called Nicholas Neville. I've not deleted it - can't recall doing so.....

Doh! I'm having bad hair day! lol.
You can't beat a good alleluia - where have they gone?
Thanks Michael. They'll be back, those A's - and plenty of them in the Easter season!
Loved those alleluias Orchi - - thanks for today's refreshing stanzas on "nature's notings."
Thanks Fay.
