Tune: Erie
('What a friend we have in Jesus')
*********
Forgive Lord, where I lose your peace
If troubles ne'er seem to cease
But some be of my own making
And not of you, Lord and King
Burdening ourselves too heavy
That you want us not carry
Help us find our rest in you Lord
Comforted sure by your word
Sometimes when your peace may take wings
We seem o'ercome, earthly things
Necessary though they may be
Crowd our way, we do not ss
The way ahead clearly, but you
Give to us fresh grace anew
So continuing to progress
Into your image no less
Show the way ahead where blocked we
Appear at standstill to be
Whether feeling your love or not
Still we loved by you, our lot
Is pleasant, and your purposes
Worked out in each one, true this
Help us, your Spirit empower
Us to serve you every hour
Each condition, [of] humanity
You do know, and too each state
You who trod this earth before us
Guide us still, keep us, and bless
So persevering, forgiven
By you, and we restored then
Holding to you each night and day
You faithfully show the way

Let the Lord guide his lost sheep.

Thanks Suresh.
I suppose the faithful will follow anywhere & anytime regardless..... made me think these words did.... Neville
Thanks Neville. Yes, if "the faithful" are sheep, as sheep seem to go in herds together.
Good one Orchi.
