Praise Professions

Tune: Laudes Domini

('When morning gilds the sky')

********

Psalm 113 v.3

From rising of the sun

To going down, each one

Of the days, praise the Son

For His name be worthy

To be praised each day, see

With hearts humble and free

Psalm 114 v.7

Tremble, you earth, for here

The Lord God does appear

Come now in lowly fear

His presence here is nigh

All may unto Him cry

To Him for refuge fly

Psalm 115 v.11

You that fear the LORD, trust

In Him, though you be dust

Your praise in Him not rust

He is our help and shield

Come to Him, to Him yield

All power He does wield

Psalm 116 v.5-6

Gracious the LORD, righteous

And merciful to us

We trust in Him here thus

He preserves the simple

Helps those who on Him call

Shall save us one and all

Psalm 116 v.7

Return unto your rest

My soul, He has you blessed

This your tongue has confessed

For He has dealt with you

Bountifully, 'tis true

Does care for you anew

Psalm 117 v.1-2

Praise the LORD, nations all

Praise Him, all people call

Upon Him, you not fall

His loving-kindness great

His truth endures e'er, fate

Determines not our state

Nice one Orchi - there are some 'professions' you wouldn't really want to praise.

Thanks M. Oh but I praise Miss Berles' professions unendingly, wax lyrical about her, etc - what does she do in the day-time - count syllables for poems; edits them; etc?

If we always have fair weather, we might forget what its like to get wet.. N

Yes lol, thanks N. There's 'fair-weather Christians (or believers)' too. I can tend to be one of them at times.
