I’ve seen it all now,
There we were
Drinking our coffee,
Minding our own business,
When in he came,
This man.
Nothing odd about that
But it was what he was carrying,
He brought in a rubbish bin,
Not a new one, just bought,
But a dirty used one.
I wonder why?

Doh! Good write Gold. Someone brought their bike inside a small-ish shop. Then customers were falling over it, as well as falling over one another. They gave the cyclist dirty looks. Grrr!
There are some strange people around and we have seen so many of them since the beginning of time when we cam into this world.
Why, yes! Maybe a guy was practising for a race or something, but he was carrying his shopping home walking backwards. Nowt so queer as folk sometimes! We've suffered more than most, you and I, seeing eccentric people, etc as we've been around longer.
The wonders of whys 😉
Why - a question that can never be answered - I wonder why?
Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ You may have seen a recent edition of the VOICE and Lonnie Donnagans Son came on. TOM JONES was overcome having been a Friend of Lonnies ! Being TOM JONES he sang a duet with Lonnies Son. Of such moments is live television made. My DAD loved LD and had all his records ! M O M A D is a timeless classic ~ loved the VIDEO ! Love your "Tales of a Local CAFF"
I was once in a Bus Station Caff and a Men came in with a small coffin ~ which I presumed was empty ~ I didnt ask ~ rather macabre !
Back to the "used bin" story ! It could be a useful recepticule if he had been shopping in a Garden Centre and didnt want to soil / spoil his plastic Harrods bag. I always have one ~ just to show where I've been !
Blessings & Peace to you both
Yours BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thanks for you comments Brian, I was around when Lonnie Donegan was at his height and a cousin of mine used to play in a skiffle group including the tea chest bass and the washing board. Don, one of the members of the group used to go out with Julie Christie for a while, never met her though.
Makes ya wonder dunnit....... Happy Sunday to ya my friend... N
Thanks Neville, life can be so strange, that makes it so wonderful.
Andy,
As the adage goes...
‘To each his own’...
Although, it is a very curious thing! I guess we’ll never know!
Wishing you a wonderful evening!
All my love to Joyce and to you!
~Laura~
Thank you Laura, yes it was most strange, one of life's mysteries.
He didn't want to spoil a new one, to carry out all the dirty looks he was gonna get! HAA HAA
Enjoyed the accompaniment.
Probably very true Suresh.
Well he didn't come in to trash the place - nice write Andy
That's true Michael, thank you.
Do hope it was empty that dirty bin Goldy - strange what bin-men can get up to eh ?
I think it was empty as he didn't seem to struggle in lifting it.
Maybe he thought you were all a load of rubbish. Nowt stranger than folk.
He may well have been coming top collect us all.
Life is so wonderful looking at all the differing people that cross our pathways.
