There I was writing my words
When suddenly it happened.
Feet started tapping,
Hands started bouncing,
Big smile within my mind.
I stopped and listened,
Listened to this music,
This music that spoke,
Spoke to my soul.
Never heard it before,
But it thrilled me so much
That I wanted to dance.

A fine write and music Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Great write and would love to see you dancing - now to listen to the clip.
On the extremely rare occasions that I do dance I still do the steps that I did back in the sixties when groups came to our local clubs, none of this dj playing disco music nonsense, real people playing instruments - great times.
Good for the body, mind and soul is dancing dear Goldy -- let the feet move is my motto - - great piece.
Thank you Fay nd so true.
Well i'm glad you were enjoying yourself, toe tapping and all. Can't say that i share your enthusiasm for the music but that doesn't matter... it's in the ear of the beholder.
Thank you d a, as ou know there are only two types of music, that which you like and that which you don’t and my likes are so numerous.
Dancing definitely is the soul moving freely!
Super write but I must say I found it a little difficult to sway but like the awesome line from Dusk "it's in the ear of the beholder" all music belongs in this world!
Thank you Dan, see my reply to dusk.
How wonderful is that, I bet most of us would love to have such a moving and joyous experience....... Nicely penned too sir ... N
