GEMS.

Fay Slimm.

Gems.

Jewelled with
rainbow translucence roll
rain-bead balls
slowly down outside windows.

Golden seed
pearls, globes of  watery
glory slide
in uniformed lines, floorward.

Diamonds in
transit they shine and fire
sparkles from
each crystalline orb's inside.

Such gems if caught
by the scribe's borrowed
insight odes
to rain-drops might follow.

Ah, I see you are jewelled with rainbows. A good place to be I guess. What a little gem here you have written. Nice to wake up to.

Grateful thanks for this lovely comment Kevin - - glad you enjoyed the read after waking.

Yes they are Goldy - each individual raindrop is a wonder of colour and shape.

As sure as God made little green apples, this must rate among the very top sparkly little gems here @ MPS..... N

Delightful little raindrops. Oh where were they when i was literally soaked to the skin last night called out to attend a gas installation. HUGE mental shift created by you here as i appreciate the beauty of each of these little gems which overpowered me last night.

            Revoking a soaking.

            • Fay Slimm.

Ah - what a wonderful character you are D.A. - - firstly baptised in deluge and then turning about to appreciate the beauty of just one of those raindrops must be a lesson in true humility. A big thank you for sharing your soaking and how you revoked it........... so pleased this little read did that for you my friend.

Sitting by the window, watching the rain fall. And then, following the path of a single drop gliding down the window pane - envisioning all that you so poetically framed
