AUTUMN
FRESH AUTUMN rain on the Mountains
As the mauve Evening approaches
Fish jumping in the clear stream
The bright MOON shines through the Forest
Heralding noises of the NIGHT !
WINTER
SWIRLING WINTER SNOW fills the Sky
North wind whistles down the Valley
Ruffling the ears of the snow plumed grass
Ive closed shutters on all windows
Inside pretend its still AUTUMN !
SPRING
DAFFODILS dance to welcome SPRING
Branches sway replete with Blossom
Butterflies give meadows colour
Hedgehogs wake from hibernation
Lambs frolic : Birds sing : Sprung has SPRING !
SUMMER
DUSK SUNLIGHT filters through Forest
Increasing growth of ground cover
The SUN sets as the MOON rises
Owls & nocturnal creatures stir
Sultry Night fills with SUMMER SOUNDS !

This is a tone Poem so in each verse / stanza I have tried
to paint a picture of each Season ! It is also a QUARENTA
40 lines in an 8 8 8 8 8 meter to give it Flow and Rhythm !
Each line is an iambic tetrameter = eight syllables !

Thanks FAY ! I have always scribbled jingles in English & Spanish since I was a Child ! Brain has taught me about Poetic Structure and the importance of Rhyme & Rhythm to give a Poem flow and recitability ! You poems are always perfect examples and reflect Wisdom & Experience both of which I am slowly aquiring. BRIAN has entrusted Me with the Site while he studying Coastal Erosion on the East Coast. He taught me that Tone Poems are a verbal Pictures and that one should feel the Sun & Sea & Wind & Rain and especially the SNOW : pleased I succeeded. The colours of AUTUMN will be in full view when Brian arrives @ Easter very very soon !

Autumn is my personal favorite season. I like it because the air is cool, and it let's you know winter is coming.
Persistence is key
YES DION : BRIAN & I like to visit Florida & Texas in the Autumn and the Aspens in Colorado have to be seen to be believed : FALL in the US is always a great Season and New England is always a great draw for BRITS for late holidays !

Brian is OK and the survey is showing much of the NORFOLK Coast is \"In Peril fromthe Sea : O hear us when we cry to Thee !\" He can\'t email while on the Field Trip so He entrusts the Site with me : which explains why you\'re getting Poem on AUTUMN and NOT SPRING and X-rays and NOT Gamma Rays ! They do checks from fixed markers to judge the extent and speed of the erosion ! I wish it was TRUMP TOWER falling into the SEA : to make Him wake up WET and to Global Warming. Increasing Urbanisation : Deforestation : Atmospheric CO2 makes it worse every day ! GLOBAL CO2 is now 411 ppm which is an 65% increase on the optimum 250 ppm ! When it passes 500 ppm (double) Brian tells me Norfolk will dissapear into the Sea and the BROADS with it ! Watch this Space and DON'T buy a Holiday Chalet on the Norfolk Coast !
